These terms apply to everyone who uses Splits, a free tool provided by HRDRV. By using the site you agree to them.
The Tool
Splits is a directory of songwriter and publisher information plus a split sheet creator. It is offered free of charge, as-is, and HRDRV makes no guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. You may use it for legitimate collaboration purposes only.
Your Responsibility
Split sheets you create, the writers you list, and the percentages you assign are your responsibility. Before registering a work with your PRO, confirm that every writer and share matches what your collaborators actually agreed to. HRDRV is not a party to your agreements and does not mediate disputes over splits.
Accuracy of Information
Directory information comes from public PRO records or details submitted during collaborative sessions. We do our best to keep it accurate, but always verify PRO, IPI and publisher details with your PRO before registering works. If something is wrong, use the "Suggest a correction" button on the profile or claim it to keep your own details up to date.
Accounts and Signatures
You access some features, like editing a claimed profile or signing a split sheet, through a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that email address secure. E-signatures collected through Splits are recorded with a timestamp and version history so collaborators can see who agreed to what, and when.
Changes
We may update these terms as the tool evolves. Continued use of Splits after a change means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Reach out to HRDRV.
